The International Hanns Eisler Society mourns the loss of its esteemed and long-standing member of the board, the composer Prof. Dr. Friedrich Cerha. He died in Vienna on 14 February 2023 at the age of 96.
The musicologist em.o.Univ.-Prof. MMag. Dr. Hartmut Krones dediated an obituary to Cerha.
