The International Hanns Eisler Society (IHEG) was founded in Berlin on 21 May 1994. It is dedicated to the research and dissemination of the works of Hanns Eisler.
The International Hanns Eisler Society (IHEG) supports the research and dissemination of the works of Hanns Eisler through publications, events, and other projects.
The IHEG edits the Hanns Eisler Complete Edition (HEGA) in cooperation with the Academy of Arts Berlin. The edition is published by Breitkopf & Härtel.
The series Eisler-Studien is published by Breitkopf & Härtel on behalf of the IHEG. Eisler-Studien. It presents critical approaches to Eisler in the form of themed collections of essays, conference reports, and monographs.
The Eisler-Mitteilungen are published twice a year by the IHEG.
The IHEG coordinates scholarly and artistic projects on selected works by Hanns Eisler and publishes their outcomes. It further initiates and promotes the publication of scores and recordings of Hanns Eisler’s works.
