The new Eisler-Mitteilungen have been published with a major contribution by the Austrian composer Hannes Heher to Charlotte Eisler, the first wife of Hanns Eisler and mother of his son Georg Eisler. Also represented ist Diego Alonso on Otto Mayer-Serra in the 1930s. Tobias Widmaier from the Center for Popular Culture and Music at the University of Freiburg discovered in 2000 a previously unknown text by Eisler about the collapse of the DASP in 1933, which is not included in the HEGA. Peter Deeg interviewed Jürgen Schebera on the occasion of his 80th birthday. Four anniversaries are still in sight: 250 Hegel - Hölderlin - Beethoven - 300 Breitkopf & Härtel by Albrecht Dümling on the chronicle and with an extract from an interview with publisher Nick Pfefferkorn by Claudius Böhm from the Gewandhausmagazin Leipzig.

Announcement: international Hanns Eisler Scholarship from the City of Leipzig 2021
The International Hanns Eisler Scholarship from the City of Leipzig will also be awarded in 2021. This is the third time that Leipzig, the city of music, is showing the vivid memory of Hanns Eisler, one of the most important composers of the 20th century, who was born in Leipzig in 1898.
