Since the foundation of the musica nova series in the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, he has been committed to the performance of modern 20th century composers. Numerous works by Hanns Eisler were heard in this series. He recently finished and released a highly acclaimed series of 4 CDs <span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-ansi-language: DE; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">\u2013<\/span> recordings of known and unknown Eisler songs <span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-ansi-language: DE; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;\">\u2013<\/span> together with the baritone Holger Falk. A book presentation and the birthday concert of the Gewandhaus planned in his honor unfortunately had to be canceled due to corona.
