IHEG / What we do

The International Hanns Eisler Society (IHEG) supports the research and dissemination of the works of Hanns Eisler through publications, events, and other projects.

The series Eisler-Studien is published by Breitkopf & Härtel on behalf of the IHEG. It presents critical approaches to Eisler in the form of themed collections of essays, conference reports, and monographs. More information

Eisler conferences

Once every year, the IHEG presents a wide-ranging programme with talks, discussions, and performances as part of the ‘Eisler Days’.
In addition, the IHEG acts as the organiser of scholarly symposia on selected areas of Eisler’s work.

The IHEG coordinates scholarly and artistic projects on selected works by Hanns Eisler and publishes their outcomes. It further initiates and promotes the publication of scores and recordings of Hanns Eisler’s works. More information
